For the first quarter of 2020, prior to a pause due to Covid fallout, I was the social media copywriter for both the Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo publications of Dining & Destinations Magazine.
I produced copy for Instagram (SB & SLO), Facebook (SB & SLO), & Twitter (SB & SLO), sourced images, built content calendars, and implemented content into Sprout Social.
Z Living
As a content writer and editorial manager at the boutique television network Z Living, I crafted copy for the brand website and its social media channels. Promoting television programs like The Dr. Oz Show, and spearheading campaigns like The Yoga Girls Challenge (pictured below), I gained valuable media marketing experience.
Roger Smith Hotel
I used to write social media copy and blog posts for the Roger Smith Hotel in New York City. Collaborating with a skilled photographer, I came up with the story concepts, organized interviews and shoots, as well as wrote all the copy.
Refinery Runway
When I was writing the blog for the Refinery Hotel in New York City, I also created a social media campaign to celebrate stylish guests and the property's rooftop bar. The #RefineryRunway campaign excited the client and generated valuable traffic to the site.
Spherical
When working as a digital content producer for the marketing agency Spherical in New York City, I would occasionally take over the Twitter. Some of the most successful posts from that time came from taking part in Twitter events like Travel & Leisure's #TLChats, as well as posting content-themed tweets like those below.
